Empathy by Design explores how design can foster empathy—for others and the self—through the lens of healthcare. By reimagining waiting spaces as emotional touchpoints, the project introduces shared, responsive, and immersive interventions that invite reflection and connection. It transforms passive spaces into emotionally resonant spaces. In doing so, the project creates opportunities for people to feel seen, heard, and valued—restoring empathy at the heart of care.
